“Julie Plec has said that a lot of what happened in the book was great to read, but on the screen it would just look cheesy and comic book like. This means fans might never see Damon, played by Ian Somerhalder, control his pet crow with his mind, and the relationship between Damon and Bonnie will stay the way it is – at least for now anyway.”
